New regulation: mandatory stay declaration for 12 hours
According to Decree 282/2025 / ND-CP, the management of residence is tightened, including provisions:
🔹 Within 12 hours from the date of arrival, foreigners (including those of Vietnamese descent who already hold foreign nationality) mandatory temporary residence declaration.
🔹 For remote areas, the deadline is extended to the maximum 24 hours.
⚠️ The "let it be declared the next day” or "at a few days and then notify” can be considered as Administrative violations.

- Violators may be Fines up to VND 1,000,000.
