1. What is a Canadian Visa?

2. Types of Canadian Visa

2.1. Canadian tourist visa
a.One-time tourist visa
A single-entry visa is a single-entry visa granted to a person who visits Canada. However, with this visa, when arriving at the customs gates of Canada, you need to declare the number of days of stay here.
The maximum length of stay for a tourist trip is only 6 months. At the end of that time, you are forced to leave the country when the validity period of your visa expires. If you leave Canada before the expiration date of your visa, when you want to return to Canada while the entry visa period is still valid, of course, you still have to apply for a new tourist visa.
b.Multiple travel visa
This type of visa, you are entitled to enter Canada several times when the visa period has not expired. With a multiple Canadian visa, each time you enter, you can only stay for up to six months and the specific stay time is also decided by the customs officer on entry. You are forced to leave Canada before the expiration of the time set by the border customs officer. However, with a visa they issued close to the expiration date, it is impossible to apply for a visa, so you should pay attention to apply for a new visa and passport when it is close to expiry for your travel journey to be the best and most fun. Remember that if your passport is only ten days, it means that you will only be able to stay in Canada for ten days no matter what type of visa you apply for.
The multiplex tourist visa is the most popular one. The Canadian multiplex tourist visa is divided into the following categories:
- Three-month Canadian tourist visa: You are allowed to enter Canada for a period of three months from the date of issue and the passport is still valid.
- Six-month Canadian tourist visa: You are allowed to enter Canada for a period of six months from the date of issue and the passport is still valid.
- One-year tourist visa: You are allowed to enter Canada for 1 year from the date of issue and the passport is still valid.
2.2. Canadian visa for study abroad
Canada student visa is divided into 2 categories including: no financial proof and financial proof.

a. SDS visa (no financial proof required)
- Study Direct Stream (SDS) is available for students from 04 countries: Vietnam, China, India and Philippines effective from March 15, 2018.
- With SDS, you only need to purchase a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) worth CAD 10,000. However, to enter this category, you need a minimum IELTS of 6.0 (no skills below 6.0). b. Traditional visa – financial proof
In addition to SDS program, you can apply for a Canadian student visa in the traditional financial proof way. - Proof of income from salary: need a labor contract, personal income tax return, payroll statement

- Savings book: the amount and time of savings deposit as long as possible
- Profits from dividends or from companies owned by themselves: Business registration certificates, financial statements of the last 02 years.
