
1. What is the procedure for applying for a visa to visit relatives in Germany?

c.Financial records
- - The original bank account statement made within the last 3 months;
- Other documents, if any (confirmation of money transfer, credit card, regular income from the property);
d.Papers of trip purpose
- Proof of kinship (e.g. birth certificate, marriage certificate); or Written Statement of the inviter, if there is no kinship; and
- A photo of the passport of the person who is going to visit Germany;
- Photo of the inviter's current residence permit in Germany (if the inviter does not hold German citizenship);
e. Documents confirming the trip
- - Accommodation reservation confirmation or invitation clearly stating the inviter's address of stay;
- Confirmation of flight booking;
- Travel insurance (at least €30,000 liability is valid for all Schengen countries);
