I. Checklist of UK tourist visa applications
Checklist of visa application documents include the following:
1. Personal records:
-Original passport (valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of entry into the UK);
-All old passports (if any);
-2 photo 4*6cm, white background, newly taken within 3 months;
-English visa application form (completed online);
-A notarized copy of the household registration book;
-A notarized copy of the marriage registration certificate (if any);
-A notarized copy of the child's birth certificate (if the child has a child);
-A letter of approval of both parents certified by the local authority (if the applicant is under 18 years old without accompanying his/her parents);
2. Documents proving occupation:
a / If they are officials or employees:
-Forensic labor contract / Recruitment decision / Appointment decision / Salary increase decision;
-An application for a leave to travel;
-Confirmation of salary of the last 3 months (if paid in cash; or
-Account statement of the last 3 months (if paid via bank);
- Business cards at the company at work;
b / If they are enterprise owners:
-Sao y Business Registration;
-A tax payment report of the latest 6 months;
-Papers on handover of work in their absence;
c / If they are retired:
-Retirement card / Retirement decision / Monthly pension receipt book;
d. If the applicant is a student:
-An application for absence from school with the school's certification;
3. Documents proving financial status:
- Make a copy of the savings book with minimum value of USD 10,000 or more or the original of the Certificate of bank account balance of the individual or the agency if the business owner
-A copy of the Red Book or the Land Use Right Certificate or the Certificate of Inheritance Transfer bearing the red seal or certification of the local administration (if any)
-Certification of the lease contract + tax invoice (if any)
-Certification of ownership of other assets (cars, stocks, shares, bonds);
4. Travel documents:
-Confirmation of 2-way air ticket booking;
-Confirmation of hotel reservation;
-Travel itinerary in the UK.
II. UK visa application fee
In addition to the English visa procedure, you need to know the cost you will have to spend to get a visa. For a British tourist visa, the visa fee depends on the duration of the visa that you want to apply. Specifically, there are 4 common groups of visas:
Going one or more times in a period of less than 6 months: VND 2,660,000.
Multiple trips in 1-2 years: 9.275.000 VND.
Multiple trips in 5 years: 17.010.000 VND.
Multiple trips in 10 years: 24.570.000 VND.
Note that the above visa fee is only the relative price when converting from pounds to VND.
III. How long does it take to apply for a visa to the UK?
The time that you can get a visa to the UK depends on 2 things:
1.The time that you prepare the necessary papers to make records.
2.VFS visa application processing time. Normally, you will have to wait 2 – 3 working weeks for your UK visa result.
IV. UK visa duration
Short-term UK visas such as tourism, business or visiting relatives will be issued 1 visa type the same with a duration of 6 months, out and many times and a maximum stay of 180 days. In addition, making a UK visa can be issued a visa 1,2,3,5 years multiple times depending on your profile is strong or weak, are eligible and reasons for this type of long-term visa or not.
However, the maximum length of stay will be determined by the customs officer at the time of your entry into the UK airport. The maximum length is usually 180 days however they may have the right to allow you to stay for 3, 5 or 7 days depending on the specific case, and depending on your purpose and documents. And they also have the right to refuse entry if they find that you have manifested into the UK wrongly with the original purpose and want to reside illegally here.
