About SDS program and differences with regular visa

Canada is known as a country that always focuses on the quality of education and constantly updates new innovative policies, facilitating the attraction of international students to study. Following the success of CES program (Canada Express Study) has been implemented since 2016, Student Direct Stream ( SDS) is officially applied in Vietnam since 2018.

The Canadian government's move is aimed at reducing the hassle of applying for student visas from citizens of four Asian countries, including China, India, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

Students will be exempted from financial proof procedures, which speeds up the process of applying for a student visa. In addition, the advantage of SDS program is that it allows applicants to choose most of the Colleges, Universities and educational institutions in Canada (instead of limiting the list of 55 schools in the CES program as before).
