1.About the school

Located in the city of Cracow, Poland, Cracow High School is one of the Cracow International Schools, covering all levels from kindergarten through the end of high school.

Cracow has been Poland's ancient capital for over 1,000 years. It is one of the oldest cities in the country, and the second largest in Poland. Cracow's ancient buildings were inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1978 such as: Wawel Cathedral, Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) in Main Market Square, Kanonicza Street, Wawel Gothic Church, Wawel Museum. This city is very suitable for studying in Poland for high school thanks to its peaceful and ancient life.

The school meets the highest standards of general education teaching in Poland as well as internationally such as:

  • International Curriculum on AS&A Levels of the Cambridge International Education System

Students are taught in a bilingual system with international standards. The students are required to attend compulsory classes and extracurricular sessions, along with enrolling in courses, trainings and workshops to prepare for future higher education. Furthermore, Cracow High School provides students with space to exercise their passions and develop their interests. This is done by allowing students to participate in classes to expand their knowledge in the scope of their chosen subjects and in topic clubs.

2.The training program 

Cracow High School is an international bilingual high school, so students are trained in an advanced European standard general education program:

  • Language of instruction: English or bilingual English – Polish
  • Be taught the subjects that are suitable and necessary for the actual knowledge of the future job
  • Take the Cambridge A-Level Certification Exam

The Cambridge A-Level is a world-recognized pre-university program for students aged 16 years and completing grade 10. In the UK, the A Level program is considered the “gold standard” for admission to top universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, etc. In the US, the Cambridge A-Level certificate is accepted by 600 leading universities and colleges. The Cambridge curriculum is an international curriculum that aims to develop analytical skills in the subjects, as well as encourage independent thinking and analysis of students. This program prepares students for future educational knowledge at an academic level by a variety of studies, including scientific, humanities or artistic studies. This is why Cambridge is highly regarded and recognized by many prestigious universities worldwide.

Students of Cracow International High School will also regularly participate in workshops and project classes in the “Global Prospects” project, which focuses on global issues and issues related to a dynamically developing world.

With the exception of all compulsory subjects from the National Curriculum in Poland, the school offers the opportunity for students to choose electives. Students can take the Cambridge Curriculum A Levels test in the following subjects:

3. Teaching methods:

Cracow International High School carries out the curriculum with a special emphasis on experiential learning. The following factors facilitate the completion of the Cambridge Curriculum and the Polish National Curriculum:

4.English training

At Cracow International School, students have the opportunity to develop communication skills and use English fluently. This is thanks to:

+ The choice of the language of instruction (students can choose to work 100% in English or bilingual, except for the Polish language and literature, Polish History and Geography- subjects that must be studied in Polish)

In addition, Cracow Bilingual Secondary School encourages students to prepare for the Cambridge Qualifying Language Certificates and to obtain certificates recognized by employers and universities worldwide. 5. Application for admission 

Cracow Bilingual High School is currently open to enrollment for the 2019/2020 school year for a 3-year cycle and a 4-year cycle. Enrollment is open for the entire school year, until a sufficient number of students are met.

*Required documents when applying to Cracow Bilingual High School for Vietnamese students:

+ A copy of the pupil's birth certificate,

+ Copy of passport

+ Transcripts, transcripts, certificates of graduation of grade 1 and grade 2

+ 2 ID sized photos, signed on the back.

6.Tuition fees

For the 2019/2020 school year, the following fees apply at Cracow Bilingual Secondary School:

+ Tuition Fee: ~ VND 9,500,000 per month, paid for 12 months

+ Facilities Fee: ~ 6,000,000 VND per year. The first payment is made on the date of signing the contract. The remaining payments will be made at the beginning of each school year.

Tuition fee does not include:

+ Extracurricular classes

+ Discovery trips, workshops, outings

+ Textbooks
