1.Introduction to ICEAP English School

ICEAP is a well-known general academic English language school in Canada. At ICEAP, students will quickly adapt to Canada's undergraduate and graduate teaching methods, and students will be equipped with the best academic knowledge through preparatory programs before entering their major.

ICEAP students will have more choices through the admission letter of partner Colleges and Universities. Many universities and colleges in Canada have recognized the quality and become reliable partners of ICEAP.

2. Why study English at ICEAP?

3. Subjects of students

  • Students who have been accepted by ICEAP partner schools but have not yet achieved English proficiency.

4. ICEAP's objectives

The Canadian International School of Academic English plays an important role in comprehensively improving students' listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. The program is designed to foster academic English for students before officially entering a major in university. Students will be trained in English language skills necessary for the academic process at the university level.

5. ICEAP Training Levels

The EAP program consists of 6 levels, each lasting 8 weeks. Upon arrival in Canada, students will be tested for English proficiency. Upon completion of Level 6, students will enter either a College/University Transfer Program (02 months) or a Master's Program (04 months) before entering the main course.

6. ICEAP Facilities 

  • Branch in CBU: Established in 2009, this branch is now a place for international students to study English at level 4 and higher. International students will have access to the library, gym, stadium and other modern CBU facilities.
  • ICEAP – Glace Bay Campus: Established in 2011 with permission from the City of Sydney. The ICEAP – Glace Bay campus is made up of two teaching buildings and an indoor stadium with an area of 10,000 square meters. This makes ICEAP – Glace Bay the largest English school in Canada and the only school in the country with its own stadium.
  • ICEAP – Access branch: established in 2013. This is a place to train female students with the scholarship program of the ArabSaudi government, mainly training English for Arab women when they just arrived in Canada, this is a school trusted and appreciated by the Saudi government.
  • ICEAP – Toronto Branch: Established in 2014 with the aim of providing students with a learning environment of universities right in Toronto – the most developed city in Canada. This is the place to train the Bridging and Pathway academic English programs for international students who have been admitted to the University or Master's level of ICEAP partner schools but need to practice English before studying a major.

7. ICEAP Partner Schools

a. Students with a good academic score of 8.0 or higher, aspire to gain knowledge at one of the top prestigious universities in Canada, come to King's University College (King's University)One of the four oldest and most prestigious universities in Canada, King's offers students a choice of majors such as Finance, Accounting, Human Resource Management and Social Studies. Currently, King's offers free enrollment and preferential entry scholarships for Vietnamese students up to CAD 10,000 upon enrollment.

If you are looking for a University in the Greater Ontario Province with many paid internship opportunities during your studies, then Brock University Brock University is only one hour from Toronto, offering more than 40 academic disciplines with paid internship programs: Accounting, Tourism, Computer Science, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Psychology ... Brock is proud to be a university that trains theory along with practice, helping students quickly get a job right after graduation. Brock currently offers attractive entry scholarships from $5,000-$20,000 CAD.

b. If parents and students want to find a quality university with affordable tuition in Eastern Canada, can think of the school immediately Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU)Located in Halifax, Nova Scotia's largest city and the capital of Eastern Canada, the school has been named one of Canada's 4 most desirable destinations (Tripadvisor 2018). With picturesque scenery, Halifax attracts millions of tourists every year, and it is certainly an attractive place to study and practice service industries such as Hospitality & Tourism (this industry has 03 paid internships at MSVU). In addition, Nova Scotia is a resource-hungry Province, so job opportunities with other professions are also very open. MSVU currently offers entry scholarships from $2,500-$28,000 CAD.

c. If you are an active person, prefer to study near a big city, interested in practical joint training disciplines, saving time to study, choose a school Durham CollegeDurham is only 45 minutes from Toronto, with the highest rate of graduates employed in the GTA region (Greater Toronto Area). At Durham, you can learn one of the most novel and attractive careers in the world, with high applicability such as Artificial Intelligence, Healthcare Technology. Besides, there are many easy-to-employ jobs such as Spa, Massage Therapy, Preschool Education, Horticulture ... Currently Durham has an automatic scholarship of $2,500 CAD for students who choose to study Healthcare Technology Administration (Durham is the only school in Canada to train this discipline).

d. If you make saving your money a priority, you can choose to study at a Community College New Brunswick (NBCC)NBCC has 6 campuses in New Brunswick Province with super cost savings of only $9,300 CAD / year. The training programs at NBCC are highly applicable to find a job after graduation, currently 94% of NBCC graduates find a job right in New Brunswick Province.

Once you have chosen the right school, make a plan to have a smooth study abroad journey. If you do not have enough IELTS scores to go directly to the main course, students can enroll in English courses at ICEAP Toronto English School in Toronto - Financial and Economic Center of Canada, where students can improve their academic English ability and applicability to meet the standards of colleges / universities, and help students initially get acquainted and integrate into the environment and study in the largest city in Canada before moving to the main course.

8. Tuition and living expenses

ICEAP-Toronto Accommodation: 850$/month (3 meals/day)

ICEAP-Sydney Accommodation: 700$/month (3 meals/day)

Dormitory cost: 500$ / month , meals 600$ / month

MBA Preparation Program, Transfer to Bachelor/Master of Education Training: $7800/4 months.

Transfer Program for Bachelor of Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Public Health : $3900/2 months

EAP Program: 2 months/1 level $2980/level (Canada Dollar)
