Lewis University (LU) was founded in 1932 with its main campus in Romeoville, Illinois, located on a beautiful campus 30 minutes southwest of Chicago. More than 5,300 students attend undergraduate and graduate programs.

Lewis University's picturesque 376-acre campus is located in the southwest and is a 30-minute drive from Chicago. The campus is home to more than 1300 students in 12 dormitory districts, all of which are within easy walking distance of convenient classrooms, libraries, fitness centers, and student unions.
In addition, you can easily move to the busy center of Chicago from campus, so the chances of students finding CPT and OPT conditional internships at international companies are very high.

4. Accommodation at Lewis University
LU offers on-campus accommodation for international students in 12 different dormitories. These are Cody, Dorothy Day, De La Salle North and South, Fitzpatrick, John Paul II. Mother Teresa, North Dormitory, Ryan, St.Charles Borromeo North and South, Founders Hall, Sheil Hall and South Hall
If students prefer to live off-campus, they can choose local housing and apartments. Students will be responsible for finding off-campus housing, but the school will assist in providing data for students to easily find.
International students may also choose to live with the American host family in the form of homestay. The family will provide the student with a private bedroom and two meals per day. Most homestays are located less than 30 minutes from campus.
