Preparing to study in South Korea

Prepare luggage when studying in Korea

By KimChi

Today I have time to share the preparation of luggage before studying abroad in Korea. As well as many friends in the beginning I also had to ask many people to go ahead to see what should be brought through there, with 40kg luggage I carried a lot of stuff and came here to see the cost of carrying too :)), in addition to many of you bring food is also confiscated at the Korean airport too is very expensive so I write my share of you reference offline.

What is needed to bring to Korea?

First of all you have to prepare the papers that MUST BE AVAILABLE first and then excess luggage to take into account the other ones offline:

[1]. Personal documents: Passport, Visa, Degree. These documents must definitely have and not forget :)

[2]. Photo cards taken 4x6, 3x4 photo covers brought here to submit to the school this side in need of you guys. As long as the white background likes, add a tie for it polite :).

[3]. Money. This is not sure to bring over there to beg too :). Depending on economic conditions and whether there are family members on this side or not you can bring from $ 500 (roughly about 12tr Vietnamese money there) becomes about 500- 1500 is you can survive this side of 2 months and then depending on the cost of living in each region.

[4]. For those who are motivated to learn, you should find books to learn Korean, or Topik book or bring over to study, and buy phone headsets, memory cards, or USB 4g, 8g through here. Be sure to use it for storing documents later, guys. Those are compact, tucked anywhere. Do not eat many Kg all tucked in here until you need to buy here for expensive.

[5]. Medicines. Bring away some medicines for common diseases such as flu, cough, fever, or any friend who has a history of weather allergy, foreign allergy, bring a medicine for allergies - itching used to use.

[6]. Install an offline Vietnamese–Korean/Korean–Vietnamese dictionary on your phone so it also works without an internet connection. When you first arrive and go out alone, you can use it to look up shop signs, product names and unfamiliar items in supermarkets. It will help you communicate when shopping instead of relying entirely on gestures. (a lot of laughs and tears because going to the supermarket do not know / under the name of Korean to buy rice, buy the wrong sugar, buy the wrong oil vinegar :v " That's all there is to it. "

Stuff and clothes.

Next is the clothes, I see this party cheap clothes also overweight you can bring more: socks (socks), underwear (this is stuffed a lot of excess to come here when in the dormitory lost underwear as meals), cold shirt 2-3 something warmest is intended to bring to the cold season this side, buy this shirt can withstand the heat. Winter clothes spring .etc. In general bring just a little over here until you go to work more familiar Korean currency see clothes cheap this side.

It's a good idea to bring these.

Here I know it industrial water so the type of goods made industrial, the price of it is true to the value of the money - or called very cheap. Only agricultural products vegetables and fruits this side is called a little expensive. If at a time you will crave the VN dishes or taste very VN, but you can rest assured that the store sells Vietnamese goods are all but expensive so when you go baggage 40Kg that you should bring many spices of that country to bring to cook to taste such as pepper (pepper), five flavors, home-made crafts are made of dried pre-cut things such as dried onions, dried discharge I see friends this side bring to those delicious cooking as in Vietnam.

Experience in safe luggage handling.

Because many of you when going or carrying dry things, mosquitoes .. fresh spring rolls, spring rolls, sour rolls, things through here will probably be confiscated at the store in HQ. A little trick I used to be shared by my sister at the company is that homemade dry goods are not purchased in supermarkets with that packaging, then you find a grocery house, handicrafts with a vacuum machine. If you do not know how to vacuum, click here to know "vacuum suction" so my goods just do not smell, deflated not cost an area compact and also preserved dry things long. Then more carefully wrapped 1 times the foil bag dry things again.

When packing your suitcase, you just put a few layers of clothes in front of you and put dry clothes so and overlay the layers of clothes should do so when being checked they also only dig a little above rather than flipping clothes to the bottom of your suitcase. So your food is safe.

In such a way you bring dried ink, dried moss, spices are very safe absolutely no smell.
