Seneca College was founded in 1965 in Ontario – Toronto, Canada. The College is currently home to more than 20,000 students, including about 3,500 students from more than 100 countries worldwide.

1. Geographical location

Seneca College campuses are located throughout Toronto, Peterborough and the York area. These are densely populated areas with high levels of economic and social development.

Transportation: Seneca College students can use the subway, bus, or tram to get around the campus. Students who apply for a bus pass will receive a preferential student fare, making transportation very convenient. In addition, students can move between campuses by using campus bus service.

– The school has dormitories for students with modern security control systems

– The school has a library with a large number of books for students to study, in addition to many bookstores in the school for students to choose

2.Seneca College Training Program

Seneca College has 3 main training programs for students:

– College programs:

English Input Requirement: IELTS 5.5

– Undergraduate programs

English Requirement: IELTS 6.0

– Graduate Program

English Language Entry Requirement: IELTS 6.5

In addition, for students who do not have sufficient English proficiency, before entering the main course, you will be involved in the school's English program. The program consists of 8 levels and each level lasts 7 weeks to help students have sufficient English ability to attend the main courses of the school.

To meet international students’ demand for two consecutive postgraduate programmes, Seneca launched Post Graduate Certificates Bundles (PGCB) in early 2021. Seneca was the first college in Canada to offer comprehensive two-year PG bundles, with up to 35 programmes.

– Seneca's 2-year PGCB is an ideal choice for new university graduates who want to focus on developing their professional fields or those who are already working, have professional experience and knowledge of a profession, are looking for career advancement opportunities or turn to a new career path in a short period of time.

– PGCB allows international students to enroll in two consecutive Graduate Certificate programs in a single entry application to create a “package” of Graduate Certificate courses. Students have the choice and flexibility among Seneca's many graduate certificate programs to create their own study plan packages and can enroll in up to three packages in a single application (up to 6 majors in total).

– Two-year and three-year college programs: About $15,000 – $16,000/year

– 4-year bachelor's degree: About $19,000 – $21,000

– Graduate Program: About $15,000 – $17,000

– Surcharge cost: $900/year

– Books and learning tools: $1,000 – $1,500

V. Scholarships for Seneca College students

Each year, Seneca offers scholarships, awards and student grants in the millions of dollars. International students can apply for an annual scholarship in the last month of September each year. In addition, Seneca offers a number of entry

Bachelor Program (4 years)

– Nursing program affiliated with York University: Scholarships up to $1500 / year, total $3000 / 2 years.

– Other bachelor programs: Scholarships up to $1000 / year, total $4000 / year.

Transfer from college to bachelor's degree (Diploma to degree): $2500

10 entry scholarships and self-renewal: $1000/issue

 Students can apply for an entry scholarship once they have received their LOA and have paid the tuition deposit.

VI. Entry requirements and documents to be prepared at Seneca College

1.Input Requirements

With diploma, advanced diploma, degree programs: Students must have a high school diploma (Level 3).

Note: Some majors such as Biotechnology – Advanced (BTA) require students to major in some related subjects such as mathematics, chemistry, biology.

Students should carefully review the entry requirements of each major at the website of each program.

– With post-graduate programs: Students must have a bachelor's degree.

Note: Some majors require students to have specialized knowledge and work experience in that field.

2. Application for admission to Seneca College

a.For international students enrolled in college programs

– Fill in the online registration form

– High school transcripts, Passport, Diploma;

– English language required

 IELTs: Minimum 6.0 (no skills below 5.5;

or TOEFL: Minimum 550 (on paper) or 80 (on machine) – sections not less than 520;

or PTE Academic: 58.

b. For international students applying for undergraduate programs

– Fill in the online registration form

– High school transcripts, Passport, Diploma, transcripts of other programs (if any);

TOEFL: At least 570 (on paper) or 84 (on machine) – sections not less than 21;

IELTs: Minimum 6.5 (no skills below 6.0);

Academic PTE: 60.

c.For international students applying for postgraduate programs

– Fill in the online registration form

– University transcripts; Passport, Diploma

TOEFL: At least 580 (on paper) or 88 (on machine) – sections not less than 22;

IELTs: Minimum 6.5 (no skills below 6.0);
