Only 4 days left to prepare your application for the November 2026 enrollment. With the combination of study and internship, the Singapore 6+6 program is being interested by many students, especially those who want to both improve their professional skills and have more practical experience in an international environment.
What is 6 plus 6?
As the name implies, the program is built according to a roadmap consisting of two stages:
6 months study → 6 months internship
For the first 6 months, students focus on English and specialized knowledge. After that, students have the opportunity to enter the internship period to apply the knowledge learned to the actual working environment.
This is a suitable model for those who want the program to be applied and want to get acquainted with the international business environment soon.
6 months of study: Consolidate English and expertise
In the early stages, students are taught the contents related to the specialized program, and can receive English training to meet the learning requirements.
One point that many students are interested in is some programs do not require IELTS entryInstead, students can study English in parallel with the specialized program required by the school.
This can give you more options for those who do not have an IELTS certificate but still want to prepare their profile to study in Singapore.
6 months internship: Gain practical experience
After the study period, students have the opportunity to participate paid internships according to the conditions of the program and the receiving unit.
The recommended allowance level is approximately 1,100 – 1,800 SGD/month. However, the actual level may vary depending on the internship position, the business, the discipline and the applicable conditions.
More importantly, the internship period gives students the opportunity to:
- Get familiar with the international working environment
- Apply specialized knowledge to practice
- Develop communication and work skills
- Gain experience before entering the labor market
Why is the November 2026 period of interest to many of you?
