II. Causes of Canadian Educational Success

In Canada, the Bachelor's degree program is usually 3 years, while the Master's (sometimes called “postgraduate”) program can be 1 to 3 years.

The university's curriculum is taught through traditional lectures, combined with workshops, group work, assignments, and project work.

The atmosphere in the classrooms of Canadian universities is usually very open and friendly, the professors will only be the instructors, helping students to study / research independently. In many ways, the Canadian higher education system has many similarities to the American system.

General characteristics of higher education in Canada:

  1. Students are encouraged in expressing opinions and communicating to resolve misunderstandings honestly.
  2. Lectures are often accompanied by entertainment and attraction aimed at winning students' attention and enhancing creative and analytical thinking.
  3. After the tests and qualification assessments, professors will provide students with valuable feedback on their level and progress.
