In January 2026, the U.S. Government continued to make sharp adjustments to its short-term visa management policy. 1. What is a Visa bond?

According to the latest announcement, Twenty - five countries added to the list include:

Algeria, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh, Benin, Burundi, Cape Verde, Cuba, Djibouti, Dominica, Fiji, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Nigeria, Senegal, Tajikistan, Togo, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Venezuela and Zimbabwe.

These countries will join the group 13 countries have been applied before, including:
Bhutan, Botswana, Central African Republic, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Malawi, Mauritania, Namibia, Sao Tome and Principe, Tanzania, Turkmenistan and Zambia.

3. Why does the U.S. adopt a visa bond policy?
